Mirror.

Have you ever thought when you looked in the mirror, that the thing looking back at you couldn’t possibly be your reflection? That’s what I thought ever since I stood on my purple tortoise shaped stool. Or was it turtle shaped? I can never tell the difference. When I reached high school, I asked my friends if their reflection didn’t match them but they just laughed at me. However, it was a different kind of laugh. Like the question made them uneasy but they didn’t want to reveal that. So I took it as a deafening ‘yes’ even though I couldn’t exactly hear it. History RepeatingI had just moved down to the seaside. There was a long pier about a ten-minute walk from my newly inherited house. On my first night, as the sun sunk behind the rain clouds on it’s descent from the sky, I decided to go for a walk. Just to get my bearings and get acquainted with that pier. Even from a distance I could tell we’d be best friends. It was the first thing I really paid attention to as I drove past. As I walked, the rain felt like chips of ice on my cheek as I struggled against the fresh sea air that tugged at me so violently, I felt as though it was upset that I’d dared to face it. A Portrait of a man in strife.As the phone beeps with the well-practiced numbers, John lets out a sigh that is littered with pain. He doesn’t want to call, he doesn’t like to call but he knows that if he doesn’t it’ll just make things worse. She’s like an infection of an open wound. If John doesn’t call her, she gets unbearably worse and the phone call is almost like a soothing antiseptic. But it doesn’t work for long. As John raises the phone to his ear there is a grimace as he realizes that there is no turning back now. In what seems like the pale light of the streetlamps he has no colour. Oh my! No Way!

I'm on the verge of a story...I can feel it!
I've got this one line in my head and I just KNOW it's going to lead somewhere. It just has to!
I mean...seriously. It's been, what? About a year since I've written something worth posting? That's pathetic.
...But, I just know I've got something in the tank. I just have to get it out...that could be slightly problematic.
We shall see.
